Layers Panel

View and manage the element hierarchy for each slide.

The layers panel displays a tree view of every element on the current slide, organized by nesting depth. It is accessible from the top toolbar by clicking the "Layers" button. Each entry shows the element type and a truncated content preview.

Clicking an element in the layers panel selects it on the canvas, and vice versa. This makes it easy to locate and select deeply nested or overlapping elements that might be hard to click directly.

Use the keyboard shortcuts Cmd+Up and Cmd+Down to move the selected element up or down within its parent container. Cmd+Left moves the element out of its current container (up one level), and Cmd+Right nests it inside the element above.

Elements are rendered in tree order: top-level elements at the root, with children nested inside their parent containers. The layers panel reflects this hierarchy visually with indentation, making complex layouts easy to navigate.

You can also add and delete slides from the layers panel. Each slide acts as a top-level container, and all its child elements are shown nested beneath it.
