What size should a LinkedIn carousel PDF be?
Use 1080 x 1350 pixels, a 4:5 portrait ratio. It is the format that takes up the most vertical space in the LinkedIn mobile feed. 1:1 square (1080 x 1080) works too but shows about 25% less. Every page of the PDF should have the same size.
What is the maximum file size for a LinkedIn document post?
LinkedIn accepts documents up to 100 MB and 300 pages. In practice, keep your carousel under 10 MB: heavy files load slowly on mobile data and people scroll past before the first slide appears.
Why does LinkedIn refuse my PDF?
The usual causes are a file over 100 MB, more than 300 pages, a password-protected PDF, or a corrupted export. The checker flags each of these. Password-protected and corrupted files need to be exported again from your design tool.
Is my PDF uploaded to your servers?
